Meet Your Designer

I started Third Space in 2024 after years of quietly falling in love with floral design — first as a creative outlet during COVID, and eventually through hands-on experience working in flower shops and freelancing with event designers. What began as a personal escape during a time of deep isolation became a calling: a way to reconnect, create beauty, and build community.

The name Third Space comes from the idea of a place beyond home and work , a space where people gather, find joy, and feel seen. In the early days of the pandemic, when those spaces disappeared, tending to flowers became mine. Now, through this business, I create florals that make space for others, especially queer folks, couples in love, and mission-driven organizations, to feel celebrated and held.

My path here hasn’t been linear. I come from a background in public service, with years spent working at the intersection of education and policy. Originally from NYC (Harlem to be exact), I moved to Providence in 2019 to pursue a Master’s in Urban Education Policy at Brown and never left. My floral work is rooted in a deep love for the community I come from and the one I’ve built here.

Today, I bring that same commitment to care, collaboration, and equity into every arrangement. I am dedicated to sustainable floral design practices, local flora, and one-of-a-kind, breathtaking designs. When I’m not working with flowers, you’ll probably find me at the beach with my spouse, cuddling with our pets, or mapping out next season’s garden.

Welcome to Third Space — I’m so glad you’re here.
